1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Mansa Quiz ("the App", "we", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
These Terms apply to all users, including guests (playing without an account) and registered members.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age to use Mansa Quiz. By using the App you represent that you meet this requirement. Users under 18 should review these terms with a parent or guardian.
3. User Accounts
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- You must provide accurate information when creating a profile (name, country code).
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You may not create accounts for others or use someone else's account.
- We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use cheats, bots, scripts, or automated tools to manipulate scores or the leaderboard.
- Submit false, offensive, or misleading profile information.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the App.
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
- Interfere with the proper functioning of the App or its servers.
5. In-App Purchases & Subscriptions
Mansa Quiz offers a Premium subscription ($2.99/month) that removes advertisements and unlocks free hint usage. Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play and are subject to their respective terms.
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store / Google Play account settings.
- We do not offer refunds for partial subscription periods except where required by law.
- Prices may change with advance notice.
Advertising in the free tier is served by Google AdMob. Premium subscribers are not shown ads.
6. Leaderboard
By submitting a score, you agree that your first name, last initial, and country code may be displayed publicly on the in-app leaderboard. We reserve the right to remove any entry that contains offensive content or appears to be generated by cheating.
7. Intellectual Property
All content in Mansa Quiz — including quiz questions, translations, graphics, logos, and app code — is the exclusive property of Mansa Quiz and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses. While we strive for accuracy, quiz content may contain errors; we disclaim liability for any inaccuracies.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mansa Quiz and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the App or by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before resorting to legal proceedings.
